Seasonal Planting

Everything in the garden is happening just a little bit later than we would normally expect, but now the night time temperatures are becoming more reliably consistent we can think about starting to put out bedding and patio plants with less fear of any problems. Do watch the forecast though, late frosts are not out of the question! Our new Grow your Own area and the covered area are brimming with seasonal planting ideas for patios, beds, borders, baskets and containers as well as lovely herbs and vegetables for the kitchen garden! Our gardens are becoming increasingly important to the diminishing bee population with the decline of countryside hedgerows and wild meadows. We can all make a difference by planting 'bee' friendly varieties to provide a year round source of pollen and nectar. Look out for the 'bee' signs in the plant area which indicates which varieties are best!

Plant Guarantee

All our hardy perennial plants carry a twelve-month guarantee; we will replace any hardy stock plant that dies within one year of purchase provided that it is returned with the plant label and sale receipt.
